Several Berkeley Stags earned top honors in their respective competitions at the Cane Bay Invitational on Saturday.
For the boys, Berkeley’s DJ Chisolm claimed first in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.43 and first in the long jump (21-06.50). Tre Morris came second in the 400 meter dash with a 52.02 mark. Jaquon Williams placed second in the 110 meter hurdles (15.80).
Kaliece Pinckney placed first in the girls 400 meter dash (56.91) and second in the 800-meter run (2:26.83). Jaquoia Williams found success with a second place mark in the long jump (17-04.00). She also placed second in the triple jump with a 35-10.00 mark.
Karmen Taylor placed third in the girls discus throw with 114-07.00.
Nearly 20 teams from across the state competed in the Summerville track meet.
