Four hits from Brooklynn Stueness helped lead Berkeley Stags Softball past St James 18-5 on Monday. Stueness doubled in the first, doubled in the first, doubled in the second, and singled in the third.

St James scored three runs in the second inning, but Berkeley Stags Softball still managed to pull out the victory. St James scored its runs on a error by K Gollie.
In the first inning, Berkeley Stags Softball got their offense started when Stueness doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Zada Morgan pitched Berkeley Stags Softball to victory. She lasted five innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out one and walking one.
B Spiva took the loss for St James. She surrendered 18 runs on 20 hits over four innings, striking out one and walking zero.

Berkeley Stags Softball scattered 20 hits in the game. Jersey Silver, Stueness, Haylee Wilkerson, Allysen Hewette, Alexus Shreve, and Morgan Grady all collected multiple hits for Berkeley Stags Softball. Stueness and Silver each managed four hits to lead Berkeley Stags Softball.

J Lauttenbach went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead St James in hits.

The Stags will travel to Lexington High School on Wednesday (5/1) for the district championship game.
