2018 Cross Country Important Info!!

Cross Country will run Monday-Friday (once school starts).  Our practices are from 4:15-5:30.  During the school year we will meet at the equipment shed at the track.   If parents are wanting summer information they can email me at

Berkeley runner notches first place in county meet

Rob Gantt for Berkeley Independent Berkeley cross-country runner Kennedy Yonce clinched first place at the Oct. 11 meet at Wannamaker County Park. With a time of 20:42, Yonce ousted runners from Berkeley County rivals Stratford and Cane Bay. Berkeley clinched third overall in the girls and boys’ meets behind Stratford and Cane Bay.  

Kennedy Yonce places 1st at the Berkeley County meet!

The Cross Country Team represented Berkeley High at the Berkeley County XC Meet at Wannamaker Park on Wednesday. Kennedy Yonce placed 1st with a time of 20:42. She was also recognized a couple of weeks ago as the South Carolina 4A Runner of the Week.  Congrats to Kennedy and The Cross Country Team!

Yonce places first at home meet

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country team who ran competitively this past Saturday in Florence. A huge shout out and congratulations to Kennedy Yonce who placed first last Wednesday at our home meet and a second place finish in Florence. The cross country team will run again at home on Wednesday.
