Berkeley County School District is currently monitoring the forecasts and receiving regular updates from Berkeley County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service on Tropical Storm Idalia. At this time, there are no changes to school operations. Any changes to operations will be communicated to staff and parents.

The South Carolina Department of Education purchased and provided Berkeley County School District and other school districts in our state with My Ride K-12 for communication of bus routes and delays. The app has been unable to provide parents with consistent delay information. BCSD is now tracking bus delays for parents using Google documents.

With the first day of school less than one week away, we want to make sure families are aware of the new transportation features that pertain to bus riders. Learn more about My Ride K-12 and the student transportation tag program at www.bcsdschools.net/article/1203059.

REMINDER: Before/After School Care Registration will open on July 12 at 9 a.m. for schools with programs. Follow this link to register - https://www.bcsdschools.net/o/bcsd/page/registration-links-for-all-schools

Congratulations to our Spring Girls on the Run team who completed their 5k race at Riverfront Park this morning!
It may have rained a little but that didn’t stop them from giving it their all. They’ve practiced so hard for the past 10 weeks and we’re so proud of them!
We also went to send a BIG Thank You to our coaches and parents who support these girls and our program!

Did you know that our Color Run raised over $50,000?!?!
To celebrate our success and the hard work of our students we're hosting a Water Day on Wednesday May 17th. Grade levels will take turns out on the front field rotating through different games/activities!
Please note that only approved parent volunteers will be permitted on campus and must sign-in at the front office with a valid ID. If you're selected to volunteer your child's teacher will notify you.

We truly have the BEST staff at PSE and appreciate all that they do!! ❤️💜
